War averted!

Just as I was about to write my last will and testament, I check the news and see that there will be no nuclear attacks today, and hopefully no "cabbage heads" either.

I wonder who the defectors were? Sens. McCain, Warner, Pryor and Byrd and the usual suspects I'd imagine. But 7 from each party? That's a lot. The start of political infighting among GOP Senators? Frist's Presidential aspirations gone? Nuclear Tuesday may have been averted, but the drama continues...
